A life study. I am regularly asked how I get my goblins to look so life-like. The answer is that it is not possible to invent convincing human-like characters without first spending a lot of time studying humans.

Another old favourite, 'The Drinker'. The original bowl had to be replaced, first with a shell and then with a leaf, because the water flowed down his arm and off his elbow.

Delving even further back into my archive now! 1989 at Madame Tussauds. My portrait of Yasser Arafat, from a sitting held at 3am in a PLO safe-house in Tunis. The chap with the gun was one of his security guards.

This was the sculpture that started my goblin collection! 'Snailmaker'. I created this intending it to be a one off project, just for myself. I had no idea what it would lead to.
My Sister-in-law Nikki was designing a garden for Chelsea Flower Show and asked if she could borrow it. It got a lot of TV coverage and people started calling and asking if they could buy it.
